The DriveEdmond.com Grocery Challenge
We took a shopping list to the major grocery stores in Edmond and recorded all of the prices into a spreadsheet. We will lay out the results in short order.
First a word about the methodology of our study. We compiled a grocery list of 15 grocery store staple items. All prices were recorded on Aug 7, 2026. After discovering that prices at the I-35 Walmart Supercenter were exactly the same as the Neighborhood Market we decided to skip pricing the Walmart on Danforth.
The Natural Grocer and Sprouts Farmers Market were not included as they don't carry most of the items on our list and getting exact comparisons were nearly impossible. They are not for the price conscious shopper by any shape of the imagination.
